Finally - some less than perfect weather. I literally never thought I'd say this, but 70 degrees, 0% humidity, and not a cloud in the sky can get a little boring after weeks of it at a time. With this rain, I've had a chance to bust out some rain gear, layer up, and enjoy some humidity (am I drunk?).

While Matt was unavailable, Ryan treated himself to an SF visit after recently graduating from his Master's program at LSU. It was everything I wanted it to be, and I cannot type in words how absolutely incredible it felt to have him here. It's funny - we talk every single day, so it's not like we had to do any catching up to do. We both talked about how we've gained weight, but after that it was business as usual.
To say we were busy would be an understatement. Upon landing Thursday afternoon, we squeezed in as much SF sightseeing as someone could handle. On top of that, it was out every night, Dolores Park days, rooftop drinks, yummy dinner dates. As I assumed, all of my friends here instantly fell in love with him, and were just as sad to see him go as he was to leave. While he may not want to move here, I would still say that the trip was a success!

Hands down, Plow this is the best brunch spot I've been to since moving to San Francisco (and possibly ever). Located in Potrero Hill, this eatery, aesthetically, is everything that I look for - light (with lots of whites), airy, sunny thanks to huge windows, patio seating, yet still cozy. I went with one of my besties, Katherine, and while we waited for an hour for a spot at the bar (to get a table it was even longer) my anticipation grew and grew. Let me tell you - Plow delivered.
What we ordered:
Spit: house made fresh walnut muffin
Me: Cold Smoked Salmon
Kat: Eggs Benedict with Salmon.
All three were EVERYTHING

Okay - so this was amazing.
Two friends, Lynn and Emily, hosted their birthday party together on a yacht this past Saturday and it was everything. There were about 30 of us in total (and in my opinion, 30 of some of the best people in this city). We set sail around noon and essentially booze-cruised around the Bay for five hours. I was a little under the weather, but even still it was a pretty perfect afternoon. The weather was in the high 70s with a great breeze, so you know I was living for it. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand time - I LOVE San Francisco.
